Imams Sueing US Airways and Passengers

Please be specific.

Ok I will.Dont tear my rant apart and and ruin it with double talk. Its not open for debate. And your comments are out of context to what Im talking about.Learn to comprehend what you read before bashing it.

I have a reative that has been in Iraq blown up 2 times has a purple heart and is going back on his own accord. He believes in what he's doing and as long as he does,Ill support him.
Sempre Fi..

double talk? I ask for clarification and you accuse me of double talk? Words mean everything. and you are correct it is not open for debate. Truth trumps all "debate". Why are you afraid of the truth?

OK. Please tell me what Iraq has to do with anything that happened on 11 Sep, 01. Please keep it to verifiable facts, not speculation.

I can understand invading Afghanistan. But, Iraq? Why not Canada? (though I guess we did kill some of their troops - not so smart bombs?)

I am certain your relative "believes" in what he is doing. What, exactly, is he doing? The fact that he was "blown up" twice and still goes back makes me think maybe the first time he landed on his head. >:-7

BTW, do you even know what "Semper Fi" means and who can say it? (Sempre is French)

Smart Bombs? Sound like Bush need to have alot of them for himself. And in May 2003 he lands on that aircraft carrier, Mission Accomplished! Something seems awefully wrong about that.

What do you think about the 100+ troops that went into harms way, sweeping the neighborhood just before McCain did his "walk-through", accompanied by 200+ troops, three gunships and other helicopters? Thirty minutes afterward, the neighborhood got incoming, as if to say, you, americans, are pwned.

I always thought it was pretty skanky using the troops to set up a photo-op, however, it seems to be a feature of this administration.

Deception by Illusion. Maybe we should send Old Dick over there, I heard that he is good with the gun.

Gee what about the Mission Accomplished banner and Bush saying the war was over?

Funny thing is more American Troops have died since then over in Iraq than before he made his statement.

What truth is that,if your cat was bitten by a dog would you be afraid of letting cats around your cat.
allstrike with your post that would take some one with Sound judgment not based on specialized knowledge; native good judgment. Thats called COMMON SENSE 🙄

This thread has veered WAY off track from the original theme: These alleged Holy Goys attempting to threaten/silence the passenger(s) who reported their gate area behavior (assuming that the onboard behavior issues were mainly witnessed by cabin crew) vis a vis including him/her/them in the suit as John/Jane Does.
All I gotta say is "Oy veh, such chutzpah these meshugathas have!"

In plain English, the imams plan to sue the "John Does," too.

Who are these John Does? According to the complaint they are described as "an older couple who was sitting [near one of the imams] and purposely turn[ed] around to watch" as they prayed. "The gentleman ('John Doe') in the couple ... picked up his cellular phone and made a phone call while watching the Plaintiffs pray," then "moved to a corner" and "kept talking into his cellular phone."

In retribution for this action, the unnamed couple will be brought into court soon and face the prospect of paying huge legal bills for what they thought was the right thing to do. The same fate could await other as-yet-unnamed passengers on the US Airways flight who came forward as witnesses.

These "John Does" are called "first responders" against terrorism. But the imams' suit may frighten such individuals into silence, as they seek to avoid the nightmare of being labeled bigots and named as defendants in civil law suits.

"When you drive up the road towards the airport, there's a big road sign that says, 'Report suspicious behavior,'" said Gerry Nolting, a Minneapolis lawyer.

I was asking for clarification and you accuse me of "doubletalk".

Is that an analogy to explain why we invaded a sovereign country that had nothing to do with 11Sep01, because of 11Sep01? if so, you would be correct, it was a total disconnect to invade Iraq, unless, one wanted to tie up oil supplies in order to get prices raised for your oil buddies and one also wanted to give your friends like Halliburton a lot of business courtesy the American taxpayer because that is all I can see that our troops are dying for.

BTW, your relative that got blown up twice yet wants to return to Iraq for a third time, do you mind if I enter him(her?) in the Darwin Award sweepstakes this year. I am quite certain he/she would be a finalist, if not winner. BTW, can you tell me how your (fictional?) relative is any different than a suicide bomber?

You are answering a post about an administration using the troops as props by saying someone else wore a flight jacket? I can understand someone offering their jacket to the president during a cold day but to allow a president to wear a full military uniform is so contrary to our founding principles that it boggles the mind.

President Eisenhower never wore a uniform nor acknowledged a salute because he felt, and I am sorry to paraphrase, that the separation between the political and the military branches should (but I do remember him saying) "always be distinct".

This is a man who commanded the European theatre (I hope I am not taking too many liberties) in the biggest threat to our Constitution, WWII, and, if anyone, was entitled to wear a uniform.

Instead, we have a pretender who never finished normal flight school preening his mini-pompoms and a 2¢ cocktail weenie on a flight deck in a flight suit. It is like 24/7 Jerry Springer in the White House nowadays. and here I thought the Clenis™ was bad.
