Imans strike back

Consider I have encountered a number of different sizes of seat belts on US and I have helped at least several passengers who thought they needed seat belt extensions, but, on finding out one belt was doubled up under their seat cushion, they did not.
It’s been my experience that those who request seat belt extensions are obese folks that “know the drillâ€￾, so to speak.

Your scenario seems odd to me; a pax that does not require an extension, asks for one, because the one at their seat is doubled under the cushion. So they know what an extension is, but can’t check first to see if the belt at their seat is tangled up somehow?

Why?

What makes this different than any other phase of human recorded history? What makes this generation so special that we need to kill innocents in order to "secure" our security? and how does that interface with Ben Franklins issue of giving up our freedoms to grant "security" and we deserve neither freedom nor security?
In the name of Al...I mean Vishnu, I didn't say kill anyone. I'm saying that, in this day and age, if six men are "naive" enough to act in any way suspicious in an airport or onboard, then they deserve to get their God-loving arses thrown off!

Yes of course. When its demonstrated that the "AT"'s behavior was the cause of suspicions being raised, rather than their appearance or race, then the behavior has to be deseminated and amazingly implausible excuses given.

Just make certain it is the behavior that is judged and not the appearance.

I can guarantee you I've been on more aircraft than you, and I can honestly say I have never seen a person who wasn't of size ask for a seatbelt extension. Never. Let alone 3 on the same flight, traveling within the same group. They didn't realize their seat belts were long enough? They didn't realize their seatbelts were tucked under the seat? Are you serious? Your entire argument has dissolved into ridiculous alibis.

And I can guarantee that I have been on more aircraft than you, you liar. Try 30 thousand plus hours, POS. You certainly make the case for destroying America.

YOU consider:

1. The AT's prayed, publicly and loudly, prior to boarding

So, to fly on your POS airline you say no. Perhaps you consider nuns counting beads and openly voicing their concerns also open to booting.

2. They dispersed throughout the aircraft, out of their assigned seats, in a manner consistent with the 9/11 hijackers.

In a manner consistent with most any tour group we carry. Since you are not a operational person, I would suggest that most non-American freakosoids really do try to sit with their friends just prior to takeoff. Just ask anyone who actually works at US.

3. They asked for seat belt extensions when none of them appeared to need it.

So, why would the company then give them "seat belt extensions"?
Their employees are stupid?

4. They were overheard criticising the United States in a manner and language similar to Islamic terrorists.

I think the US is a criminal POS on the level of Hitler. I would happily pull the trapdoor for GWBush were he to be sentenced to death by hanging, not as vengeance, but to rid the globe of a virus.

Of course none of these actions is illegal, and none would have resulted in the authorities having any justification for bringing charges. Taken together, however, and in the context of an airline flight (a mode of transportation that has been continuously targeted by Islamic fundamentalists, prior to and since 9/11) it is obvious that such actions would warrant suspicion. All the alibis in the world aren't going to change that.

Obvious? Truth always trumps alibis. Bring truth to the world stage and we can work. Otherwise, America will die. (Actually, America already has died, they just haven't figured it out yet)

No, little penis.

Attempting to limit discussion is not allowed. Erecting your own strawmen to try to minimize the limit the discussion, in any sane group, would not be allowed.

Not that the asylum escapees havent been granted oral status here before.

Please try to stay on topic.

You seem to be the only one here who doesn't think that this is odd behaviour. These six men travelled together and decided to split up and change seats to span the entire aircraft; then they requested extensions, not for their seats...
While their behaviour was not illegal, it is not the norm--far from it. I would have done exactly what the crew did and if these men were not removed, I would have gotten off.

No, originally, they were not together.

I am not saying I would not report their behavior. That issue is why I am concerned. People like you seem to assume something that is not true.

How can I be a captain, assuming something that is not true? How can I trust you? Why would I trust you? You purposely bias an incident. Personally, I would toss you first. In fact, you can assume that I will definately toss you, first. Right after I toss Bob. maggot.

I assumed nothing and asserted nothing. If they were acting suspiciously, then that was a fact, and enough to get them thrown off. The Captain will trust his crew. The flight attendants on my flight today had collectively ninety years of service with this airline. Our hunches are usually correct. Should we get a numbskull Captain who chooses to throw one or all of us off, then the flight will get cancelled out of MSP, and the six will still not fly on that flight.

It’s pretty obvious you have an agenda beyond the issue at hand.

If you have to resort to name calling, I would say you’re out of valid points.

You just did assert they were acting suspiciously. What an ass.

I believe that is reason the entire issue came up. To avoid a late departure the captain decided to align itself with the crew, ignoring all the negative aspects that will come from such a posture.

I support the captain. Not that it seems to matter to the morons here.

and, the FAs screwed up. No if, ands or buts about this.

Unfortunately, they will never be educated to their foibles, at least in this POS company.

I can see that you've resorted to name calling. Too bad, it shows very bad manners. Since you consider yourself educated, you might consider showing some refinement and decorum.

Wrong. You assumed wrong, in every case.

Who cares? You want your 3x$35 versus a potential terrorist? What, are you stupid?

.....just like the other SIX IMAMS. Anti-American slurs!

only stating opinions.

LOL. Yep, right on schedule. When your argument has been totally and utterly destroyed by those who know understand the situation better than you, you resort to namecalling and insults. You claim to be educated, but I see none of that here.

As much as you might hate it, you and your kind will never take this country down. Never. And that just goads you. Your bitterness fills me with glee.

I'm done with you.
