In A Dl/nw Merger: Which Name Would Survive?

If a merger between DL and NW transpires I will guess that the Northwest name would survive. The NW name is legendary in Asia, and by virture of it's long time alliance with KLM, NW is also very well known in Europe. Of course Delta is also very well known in Europe. Any thoughts? And good luck to everyone at both carriers.

Well lets just say that DL and NW do merge I'm not sure they would do very well but you never know because they would control the whole southeat US and North Northwest. 🙄
