Is this a joke or did I do something wrong? The last trade I saw listed was in Nov. by a James Grate (who is that). Also saw some from Tom Horton who has left the company...for AT&T. Can blame him, but funny thing is, he bought. As for Carty, et. al., uhm, they're taking no salary and this is their income for now. What's so bad with that. How long could you last without a paycheck? Well, like most Americans, they have bills, expenses and such...

Buck your post is reference to what other posting?? What does it have to do with party politics?

Oy vey! Did you take a bong hit before you wrote that or something?[BR][BR]No one is waiving any salary, they did that for two months at the end of 2001, and in January they got it all back by giving themselves stock (preferred, not common) to replace approximately 6-7 weeks worth of salary. In other words, they made out like bandits. They are still pulling full salary and gold star benefits.[BR][BR]What the stock buys and sells show you is the lack of confidence even upper management has in their abilities to pull AA out of the rut. Hell, before Gunn took off, he dumped all the preferred "free" stock he's been given over the years...took the money and ran![BR][BR]You will note that Carty hasn't traded any stock (in his own name) since just after the Twin Towers fell when he bought 40,000 shares of common stock (paid about 800,000 for it at the time, it's now worth about 160,000). But, if we were to be privy to stocks held in trusts, family names, etc....we might be surprised.[BR][BR]I don't blame any of these execs. for getting all the money out that they can get. That's what investing is all about. The shame is, most of them don't invest to get the stocks, they just vote it to themselves as a perk.

No bong hits...I do, however, wonder about you. The "(in his name)" comment makes me qualify you among the conspiracy theorists. Seriously...you say something like that and you loose credability. I've worked with people at Carty's level...they don't sit around looking for ways to "screw" you. They look for ways (especially now) to keep the company in the best shape in can be...unfortunately, it semss, that you want to screw the company.

Lastly, how do you explain Horton's buys as he was leaving given your theory???

You should remove your turban once in a while and let your tiny brain get some air.

[LI]Behavior that violates the company's Work Environment Policy, even if intended as a joke, is absolutely prohibited and will be grounds for severe corrective action, up to and including termination of employment. This includes, but is not limited to, threatening, intimidating, interfering with, or abusive, demeaning, or violent behavior toward, another employee, contractor, or vendor, while either on or off duty. Behavior that is also hate-related will result in immediate termination of employment, regardless of length of service and prior employment record. [BR][BR][BR]The law prohibits any form of protected-basis harassment that impairs an employee's working ability or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment. Buck, looks like YOU were partaking in the bong a bit yourself! Either that or you're amazingly gifted at h[EM]ock a chinick ![/EM][BR][BR]

If the "company" adhered to this policy across the board, they would be without a large majority of their managers and they wouldn't get their asses sued in the federal courts as much as they do.[BR][BR]The fact is, it's just a stated policy, it's there in order to mitigate damages. Doesn't mean for a split second that it's enforced. It depends on WHO you are, WHO you were speaking to, and what the position and seniority of the alleged perpetrator is, not to mention what [EM]yenta[/EM] hears it.[BR][BR]It also depends on what [EM]kvetching[/EM] underling may eavesdrop and hear what was allegedly said.[BR][BR]Don't be such a s[EM]hmendrik meshugana nudnik putz!. . .[/EM] your v[EM]erkocteh[/EM] stated company policy doesn't apply to me, and if you think [EM]oy vey[/EM] is making fun of jewish folks.....go argue it with my grandmother, she'd get a kick out of your [EM]shlock [/EM]explanations.[BR][BR][EM]Genug![BR][/EM]

I see that not only will WNP sacrifice morals to save a buck on ISP providers, IT also doesn't have to play by the same rules as others. Sounds as though a deep throat of German Suasage would also be in order.
