Interesting CLT Observer US Airways Article

Pilots spend alot more than 40 hours per week at work. Most trips require pilots and F/As to be away from home (at work) up to 4 days at a time, that equates to 4 x 24 which is 96 hours. Lets see any other group put in 96 hours and only get paid for 20 or 21. That's how it works folks. Most pilots would LOVE to be able to fly their trips and go home at night. If you don't like your jobs, then vote NO and get a career change real quick. When contracts get voided there could be out-of-seniority furloughs (which save the company BIG BUCKS), fewer positions (no guarantees if no TA), and you still get your representation by the IAM or CWA, who can do little in this arrangement other than take your money. I, personally, think that a NO vote is just what the company wants, and that they are only allowing a revote because the union argued that there was some misunderstanding.

IAM spokesman Joe Tiberi told the CLT Observer, It's a choice between bad and worse. But if US Airways liquidates, there's no choice at all.
