I have been invited for a face to face interview with Delta in Atlanta. Any advise or suggestions for the interview would be much appreciated.

Any idea where I can find information regarding pay, benefits and work rules?

Thank you.

Practice in front of a lot of people. You will be in a room with perhaps a hundred or so... good luck!

Yeah and ask Management if they can "put it in writing" so you can believe it!!! LOL... Use lots of fluoride as you will drink alot of management kool-aid that will not only rot your teeth, it spreads to the brain... Also, ask them if there is a published seniorty list you will have access to... Ask them if they can ammend your work rules at any time..

And be very, very, glad that you will not be working with the above individual.

Having worked for an AFA carrier, I fail to see the benefit. Of course I was never in jeopardy of being fired and did not have a chronic drinking or drug problem. They did not help me keep my pension. They did not protect me or my interests. What they did do is protect the seniority of the top 5 percent, leaving the rest of us to hope that one day we would be senior enough to be protected.

Agian only my opinion....

Sounds like somebody has sore butt for not being hired or getting fired.....if you work for Delta then please resign.

Put what in writing? The payscale is in writing. See a seniority list? Ah yep, I'm pretty sure Delta FA's are assigned a seniority number in addition to thier employee numbers.

So the coolaide thing.....is your attitude an example of what heppens when you "don't" swallow the coolaide? If so, somebody pass me the glass please.

You must have worked for US Airways!

Talk with the interviewers like you would a friend and be yourself.

The other things you asked about are available, but you need an employee login to access them.

Just got a call from Delta....

They have cancelled all F/A interviews for the rest of the year.

Different Airline same old Bullshi**.

Thats strange because I just talked to my friend in ATL (she is part of the team conducting interviews) and
everything is going full force down there in ATL with the interviews. So far they have received 27,000 applications and the first class is scheduled to start in JAN.

Can you call her again and see if there is anything happening. It could also be that some want to cause a panic in those that are scheduled.

It's odd too that you were notified of your FTF back in the first part of Nov. Did it really take that long for them to schedule you?

Delta emailed me from info I had posted on career builder just a week or so ago and then last week notified me I had passed the final hurdle and would be scheduled for a FTF. Sunday they called and scheduled me for Thursday.

I wonder how the timeline can be so different, especially when they are working with soooo many interviewees. Hmmmm

My first interview was on November 30. However, my flight was cancelled. So, I was rescheduled for the 13th. I got a call on Monday from a recruiter saying that they have cancelled all interviews until after the first of the year. I find it strange that you have your interview on Thursday. HMMMMMMM??? Now, I really don't know what to think!
