Iraq Collapsing

Funny how you pull that card out when you know I am right.

When you going to tell us how you support Hillary when she is a carbon copy of those you despise on the right?

So are traffic laws, do you buy your gas from the government?

So is your phone and electric, do you buy them from the government?

So is your cable and satellite, do you buy them from the government?

Enforcement of traffic laws Do Not, in general force me to buy anything, unless you include state mandatory coverage laws which are just as wrong as ACA.

I have options as to phone service and Electricty. Home heating oil as well.

Again I'm not forced to buy either Cable or satellite TV.

Pure and simple ACA is legalized extortion by the Federal Government AND it's not the topic here. The topic is how an interventionist foreign policy leads to loss of Liberty.

If you get hit by someone with out insurance either you pay out of.pocket or your insurance does. How is that fair to you? If the insurance carrier has to pay out then they pass those costs on and my rates go up as well. How is that fair to me?

The same applies for health care. Seems if a person does not have health insurance we have two options. We can let them die or we can pay for their care. I say we let the poor bastards die but that's just me. I know people think they won't need health care but nearly all of us will at some point. I would rather pay less now than more later.

Nope, you buy it from insurance companies who are out to make profits.

The government is run by and for the benefit of big business.

The goverment forces you to buy a product from big business.

The Dems and Repubs pander to different constituencies to give the illusion of having a choice and it's working on you.

Actually you are not, that doesnt take effect till next year.
Try again.
Split hairs all you like. It's a government regulated HealthCare system no matter what year it starts. He (Liar in Chief) has made 38 changes without advice and consent of Congress so who knows if it will ever happen? Suppose the R's win Senate and House and defund the whole thing then we'll see if it's government run program won't we?

It's perfectly fair. I keep what I earn and you keep what you earn. Do you disagree?  Well then tell me how much of what I earn belongs to you and why?

The topic is Iraq and its apparent collapse. Kind of like Vietnam all over again only on a smaller scale?

No I dont. If it means that we let people die because they cannot afford health care I do not agree. I see no problem with forcing people to pay into a pool so that everyone can get health care when needed.

Well then I guess we had best dissolve Medicaid then. Numerous studies have been done showing poorer outcomes with Medicaid then private insurance.

From the link provided,

" people with Medicaid coverage were twice as likely as privately insured patients to have a number of health risk factors prior to surgery, many more emergency operations, two-thirds more complications after surgery and use 50 percent more hospital resources. The Medicaid patients in the study were also, on average, younger than the privately insured patients studied and twice as likely to smoke. They had higher rates of conditions that can result from poor health habits and make surgery riskier, including diabetes, lung disease and blockages in their blood vessels."

I've never seen a story of a person dying the street in this country unless they were run over. Charity Hospitals still do exists and treatment.

So then yet again what portion of what I earn belongs to you and why?

Let's look at other tax based health care systems see how it works in reality.. Canadians come to USA and Mexico to get treatment because Canada rations out care.

Look at the VA. Ask the ppl on waiting lists of single Payer works.. That's a small group of ppl we promised we would take care of and we can't. It's not about money. The VA has had increased funding. For five straight years. And for five straight years not spent it's entire budget.

Single Payer is taking the va system and giving it to everyone.

Yikes!

As a veteran I say no thank you...

These unfortunates apparently couldn't afford health care....Yet you don't seem overly concerned with letting them die. Why is that?:

Here's perhaps the finest possible example of those within our loving government actually, no BS, dealing with health...umm..."care" in reality: "VA officials earned $10 million in bonuses while veterans allegedly died waiting for care." This argument is a fallacy because we don't let them die the argument used to be realistic. People would get awful bills families would go bankrupt. That argument wasn't scary enough now it's they will die if poor. Funny I remember Sarah Palin getting slammed for the possibility of death panels after ocare was considered ridiculous.

Yet

Your argument is that exactly what they have now and we need to fix it by going to single payer rotflmao who is being unrealistic?

Thought this was about iraq? Oh well

Because there are progressives in both parties.. Republicans and Democrats are as scripted as the WWF. and about as realistic

Large numbers of people are not dying in the streets because we are all paying for health care and we are paying for it on an emergency care level. If everyone is forced to carry coverage then everyone pays into the pool and the costs are less. One of the reasons I support single payer.
