Is it worth saving $100 flying Northwest?

I am in the process of booking a flight for December. At first, I see that AA, although more financially sound than NWA, is $100 more. Is it worth my $100 flying Northwest with all that's going on?

no take AA! with all the labor issue goin on at NWA they may or may not be around. also not sure where your going but why dont you check US or CO and see what they offer, if anything just a suggestion though

If AA was the only carrier serving your area would you pay the extra $100.00?

if not then drive, take a bus, rail, whatever. If you choose to fly NWA at a time of such discord then don't complain when things go awry.

How much do you value your life? Do you want to fly on a plane that could have been fixed by a SCAB? Do you want to get stuck at your destination if the NWA Flight Attendants walk off the job or CHAOS?

I think the choice is obvious.

BTW...Your signature says you support the Northwest Mechanics. If you do, then fly AA.

When I pick a carrier I usually think about who's more reliable.



NW use to put the percent of it being on time as you browse through some prices for routes. Now I see that someone took that out... Use to say 60%

Remember when they use to brag about being on time ?

If it were me I would pay the extra money and sleep better not having to worry about whether the airline will be operating, etc.

Shop around a bit more...Maybe it's worth the (relatively) short drive to MSP for more carrier options?
