Yes, there have been bad people who have done bad things who have done so stating any kind of cause. That does not prove your point, but you have helped to prove mine, thank you.

We do need days of rememberance because there are still people in the world LIKE Hitler, Stalin, 700, Garfield... See, you can go back and worship at your temple of humanism knowing you are justified in your position because you are in good company.

And what point was that?

Religion has nothing to do with good or bad. People have done both good and bad things in the name of religion. There are plenty of people who are good who have no attachment to religion what so ever. Yes there are plenty of twisted people in the world as mentioned above. You can also add to the list Fallwell, Robertson, all the catholic priest who sexually abuse little boys, and that list goes on as well.

Since I am agnostic and do not worship anything that won't really work.

BTW, not that it matters, but my entire family is made up of survivors. My father was in Buna, mother and grand parents were in Terezin. OH yea, they don't believe in god either. So I guess there are non-believers in fox holes as well.
