I came across a story in the National Post about Jetsgo's MD-83s not having the capability to carry all of the needed people/baggage/fuel for the Ontario - B.C. trip, so they have been using Air Canada and Westjet to carry excess baggage for them. When there was no room on the other carriers, they would simply bump passengers bags onto another flight of thiers later in the day. Interesting considering all of the problems I have heard in the past about lost baggage and Jetsgo. Now WJ and AC have decided to stop offering assistance to Jetsgo, so it should be interesting to see what JG's next move will be. Apparently they are the only airline to ever attempt to use the MD-83 on transcontinental routes. Something to keep in mind next time you fly Jetsgo....pack light!
