This is bad advice. You can’t cloister the candidate and win. He either can cut it or he can’t, and the only way he can prove he can is to be an active and vigorous candidate. He’s running for president of the United States, for God’s sake!
Bears you know my position on AMTRAK.
You really want to rehash that?
I will read the whole Tiger Grant Bears however I have given you very specific reasons why I have issues with Amtrak. Reading the grant in it's entirety is not likely to change that.READ the WHOLE 'Tiger Grant' La', before you start PONTIFICATING about Amtrak !
In what way? I have strong beliefs but I think I have proven in the past I am open to new information. That does not mean that being open to it will change my outlook only that I am willing to show it some consideration. Only a fool rejects information on the basis of prejudice, that is what we call willful ignorance. However you also have to be aware there is a lot of BS out there designed to manipulate you and you should not accept something as a truth just because the source material presents it as so.Be careful. You Are starting to approach eolesens air of SUPERIORITY!

Also I am not so right leaning on everything. For instance education. I think the left controlling education is a bad thing. I believe when you allow the left to control education they use it to indoctrinate the students. We are seeing gross examples of that now. However the right is no better. They tend to want to reject science that does not support religious doctrine. They also tend to want to concentrate wealth allowing for disparities in educational opportunities. Anyone who thinks the right needs to control education should come to Oklahoma were our Tulsa Superintendent got an almost 200 percent raise over her predecessor (not to mention obscene benefits) and the teachers are paid at poverty wages and working in underfunded schools (despite the government using the schools to springboard tax increases, casinos, and the lottery). I think the left and the right need to meet in he middle on education. In fact his is a hot button topic for me because I know 2 teachers that quit due to low pay and working conditions but they also quit because they got tired of the teacher's UNION BS. By the way they make about 3 to 4 times the money now in their new career.
You got it.Uh oh, La'.
I SMELL CHARTER SCHOOLS !
(For those that can afford them, that is) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You got it.
I have mixed feelings about charter schools.
PROS:
It gives parents control over their children's education (I see this as a pro due to leftist indoctrination)
It allows poorer families opportunities to attend other schools that are better funded and not in troubled areas (with vouchers).
It allows teachers better opportunities for income.
It eliminates the issues of low quality teachers with tenure (do your job or get the hell out).
The school can eject problem children that are impacting others education.
CONS:
It is possible the schools will allow themselves to be saturated for profit.
It could cause financial issues for state funded rural schools.
Teachers are a limited resource and this could cause a supply issue.
It would increase taxes.
I know Oklahoma is pushing charter schools but they don't seem interested in paying our teachers a living wage or funding basic supplies (like art).
I don't know.SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, whats the solution ?
We are having a serious conversation you douche. If you just want to make stupid comments feel free to move along.LaLa's solution is involuntary abstinence. He just wants to tell other parents how to raise kids.

My comment was right to the point. You are sitting in Oklahoma claiming to know everything from the Democratic agenda to how parents should pick schools for their kids.
You have seen so little, you think you have seen it all.
