anyone read the CBS about jumpseating on delta (provided there is an avl cabin seat)? sounds good! the cbs says that more airlines are to come.

do you have more details?

From the DeltaNet website:

On Aug. 1, US Airways will join a growing group of airlines on which you’ll have cost-free access to empty passenger seats through a new reciprocal flowback agreement. We already enjoy additional travel choice, convenience and flexibility through agreements with American, American Eagle, ATA, Frontier, JetBlue and Southwest—and soon you can add US Airways to the list.

Dress code, general guidelines and listing procedures for traveling on US Airways under the flowback agreement will be similar to other carriers in the program; however, specific details will be available in the IFS Operations Handbook before Aug. 1.

I wonder why flight crews have free access while other employees pay ZED or ID90 to travel OAL?

If this is the logic then you should put the person with the most experience opening the overwing emergency exit door. Lets see, that would be a line AMT. 🙂

This is great news for commuters from both airlines!

wonder why ground crews get interairport agreements that exclude flight crew? don't like it join in-flgiht..in-flight people who don't like it work on the ramp....almost all ground people get some type of interairport agreement. flight crews have never had that chance.
