If somene can find me an article in which an executive of another international airline uses the word "crap" to describe their own product, I'll lick the wheel of a 737 trash trolley. Classy.

US Airways- Tripping the flight craptastic...

An act of defecating = the new US has for sure sh7t the bed

Foolish, deceitful, or boastful language = are there bigger fools thans than the clowns in Tempe

Cheap or shoddy material = where do I begin?.

Miscellaneous or disorganized items; clutter = I would say the ripping out of closets, destruction the galleys, and putting emergency equipment in overheads fits this one

Insolent talk or behavior = this is how they treat their VFF's and that is why I left

All of those definitions are fitting...see above

"so the more than two dozen wines on the tasting menu"

Problem was they asked her for a comment AFTER they finished the wine tasting.

I love this from the article, you know about a company who swears it has an increasing number of "elite" FF's, including US1's:

I thought they had nothing to worry about and everything in VFF land was hunky-dory. Still the sad part is that they do indeed realize they suck, they do indeed recognize their competitors offer much more, yet they still charge as much as, or more than, their competition and have no idea how to run an airline.

And bother way, just so this does not fall to the waist side, THEY DON'T SERVE WINE IN GLASS--THEY SERVE IT IN A PLASTIC PARTY CUP.
What REALLY drives me crazy is if they don't want to provision glassware due to costs, why can't they AT LEAST provide the plastic wine glasses utilized for the International pre-departure service? Are these people so tacky/classless and utterly idiots to realize that no one drinks wine out of a 10oz tumbler......let alone plastic? WE ARE NOT at a Tail Gate Party or Frat party clowns.......although I do have fun memories from college of Phi Delts and Delts that made me drink out of a bottle <lol>

Oops, my mistake! I guess the subject of Wine Tastings/Shambles and Britney Spears conjurred images of a Trainwreck.........Ms Robert's certainly doesn't need to be lumped in this lot. (Now if SHE eats calzones.........ALL BETS ARE OFF!)

Its too bad USAToday picked up on the story today. I shows that the company is run by a bunch of 'hacks.'

Sr. Executives tasting wine, what a waste of management time, and very cost INeffective, especially since it is not their field of expertise.

A 100 grand/yr person is paid $50.00 an hour, but is worth more if they make good decisions. If their were 20 'executives' there that would be $1,000.00 per hour it was costing the airline in wages, they could have hire an "expert' for less than that, and let the executives keep their day jobs. As Piney says 'the high cost of being cheap.'

Any wine distributor would be happy to put a wine list together for a 50,000 case/yr customer.

I guess the wine tasting was a way to catch a buzz on company time and being like the CEO.
