Anyone from NYC/BOS area's can easily remember drinks made at your local Apothacary call an Egg Creme, or a Lime Rickey, prepared by some NERD, affectionately refered to as a "SODA JERK" !!!!

I'll have you know you have debated with one of the best SODA JERK'S from the early sixties.Anyone up for a Cherry Phosphate or Chocolate Malted?

Aside from that....anybody remember the Jewel Tea man or the knife sharpening guy with the ding ding bell?

Or how about the guy pushing bronzed baby shoes?

Used to have a Nasty old "Junkie"(A "rag picker") who came around(on trash day) with a Dirty old white horse and wagon.
The Horse could ALWAYS be counted on to leave a fresh LOAD of "Garden Fertilizer", right in front of my house.
My mother took it stride, but NOT my ol' man :angry:
