That is not a possibility...its a probability.
The AFA has on the table an open furlough to any f/a to leave with a furlough package...that alone will create many, many f/as to leave this job.
I know, I wrote it. The company shows interest in it and its on the table. AFA and the company are just going back and forth on the amount of money to leave. Unemployment is included.
I know the company wanted to dismantle the work force, therefore, it will incentivise those who want to leave to leave, and those who want the job no matter what (usfliboi) to stay.
That will be the piece that will allow for ratification.
CWA and IAM, their boxed in a corner. If the company doesn't offer their folks something similar, their T/A will most certainly fail and they will most certainly request "self help". Can't balme them one bit, and I would join them.
The real matter is this, if the company motions to abrogate, and all the labor groups ratify with the gun to their heads...how profitable to you think this company will be with a disconnected, disgrunteld, workforce with shattered morale???? Huh?
Prediction: They won't make one penny, but continue to bleed until they are out of existence.
This managment collectively is too stupid to see it along with Dr. Bonehead, and BOD gang.
