Wow, sending e-mail via Blackberry, PC or MAC qualifies you as computer literate. Who knew! A black man running for president with e-mail sending skills! Now Michelle Obama has two things she can be proud of in her adult life.

I would venture to say that in McCain’s political career he has authored and edited more pieces of legislation, corresponded with more diplomats and embassy personnel and researched more vital legislation via the internet than Obama has in his mostly non-existent career as a politician.

Using your logic, Cindy McCain is a recovering prescription drug addict as Obama is a recovering illegal drug addict. In Obama’s book "Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance,†he is quoted as saying “I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it.†By his own admission, he used illegal drugs from age 17 to 22. I acknowledge the fact that Obama has recovered from his illegal drug “addiction†and haven’t stooped to your level of bringing it up in any of my post. I suggest you consider doing the same in regards to Cindy McCain.

Along those lines and as I recall, Barack Obama has made it clear that he will not tolerate anyone dragging his wife into the election battle. If Obama’s supporters want to drag Cindy McCain into the battle, Michelle Obama is fair game.

Are you next going to accuse Obama of being a thief, just like Mrs. McCain? Besides, there is a difference between being a hard core addict, like Mrs. McCain, and an occasional user.

Personally I could care less what Ms McCain was or was not adicted too. She is not being elected to office. I never much cared for her. I saw her in an interview and she seemed a bit fake (politicians wife go figure) but then she was asked about her adopted daughter and the incident where the Bush campaign dragged their child through the mud and back again. She said that her daughter is now old enough to start asking questions. She mentioned that one day she (her daughter) Googled her name and you can only imagine what came up. Ms McCain said she was not prepared to answer that question. That changed my opinion about her (I give her credit for dealing with it, I like her more now than I did before that interview). It solidified my opinion about her husband though. How John McCain can be in the same room with a SOB like W who at best slandered John McCains daughters name with out beating the living crap out of him is beyond me. As far as I am concerned, that is the ultimate sell out.

He conspired to STEAL my tax dollars. As I stated in my earlier post, I have forgiven Barack Obama and Cindy McCain for their transgression, I never excused them. I am still waiting to read why you felt it necessary to mention Barack Obama’s race when you referred to him as the black man of whom Michelle Obama can be proud for being able to send and receive email, while discussing his computer literacy. The color of his skin has nothing to do with his computer skills. If it was not meant to denigrate him, I am sure others would like to know the reason as well.

Whether you like it or not, you are the one who introduced the subject of race into this discussion. Being married to an African-American woman and having fathered her children, if that is true, does not mean that you are immune to harboring racial prejudices. Perhaps you only resent black males. Some of the worst bigots often start defending themselves against allegations of ethnic or racial intolerance by saying that some of their best friends are... You get my drift.
