The Return Of Jesus Christ
For the past nearly 2,000 years, there has been an ongoing debate regarding the Return of Jesus Christ. Many believe that He will literally return, exactly as The Bible says that He will, perhaps even within the lifetime of those alive today. Others have come to their own opinion, apart from what the Scriptures plainly say, and believe that the Return of Christ will not be an actual physical event, but was meant symbolically somehow. And others have decided, for themselves, that the existence of the Christian church (or in reality, hundreds of conflicting churches calling themselves Christian) serves the same purpose.
What does the Bible actually say about it? What does Prophecy actually say about it? What did Jesus Christ Himself actually say about it?
The Mount of Olives / The Mount of Olivet
Jesus Christ Is Going To Actually Return
"So when they had come together, they asked Him, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which The Father has fixed by His own authority. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth."
And when He had said this, as they were looking on, He was lifted up, and a cloud took Him out of their sight. There is nothing in this world worth lying about. The old mocking children's rhyme, "Liar, liar, pants on fire..." is not entirely inappropriate, considering what is surely coming:
"the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up. Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, and the elements will melt with fire! But according to His promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Geez 700IAM....do you think that the more you cut and paste the more people are going to get your point. If you can't get your point across in a few sentences then a deluge of bible verses won't help. I believe your lengthy posts just strengthen people's resolve to disagree with you. It's a shame but I believe your approach is a little too heavy-handed.

What you and others fail to grasp is I just don't care what you think or anyone thinks who hold onto the very things that fly in the face of God's Holy word.
If you think I am heavy handed than the Lord must really be out of line, in your mind.
If the Living Word of God bothers you so much, go on your merry way, eat drink and be merry until the day you face him, (and you will) at that point take your grievances up with him, maybe he will cut you some slack, but I wouldn’t bet my soul on it. Not preaching hell fire doesn’t make it disappear, closing your eyes so you can’t see something doesn’t make it go away, and neither does the Living Word of God go away because you and others think it an allegory or fantasy.
How big a gambler are you? Enough to bet your eternal soul that I am crazy for believing the Living Word of God? Right wing freak with mental problems, is that what I am? I’ll take my chances that eternality and God are for real and that going my merry way is the wrong destructive path.
Prudence means practical common sense, taking the trouble to think out what you are doing and what is likely to come of it. Nowadays most people hardly think of Prudence as one of the “virtuesâ€. In fact, because Christ said we could only get into His world by being like children, many Christians have the idea that, provided you are “good†it does not matter being a fool. Are you a fool or as wise as serpents?

Well you should care. Don't you ever think it is possible that your approach to spreading God's word may be driving more people away than bringing them in. The Lord is never out of line but it is possible that as humans we can be.

Thanks for the laugh
The Holy Spirit does his work and my actions will not throw a money wrench into what will be.
Here is a small example: We have elections coming up and to listen to some politicians you would think that if they are not reelected that the world will go to hell faster than it already is. Like Rick Santorum wants voters to believe. He had his 16 years service and wants to retire as a politician in his old age. He will not get my vote. Even if the devil himself replaces him, God will see to it what kind or how much damage he can accomplish. God’s still in control even though Satan hangs out on the street corners tempting everyone who passes by.

I heard Hassert on TV today. He said if he was told it was among numerous other topics and he just does not remember.
Strikes me as a bit odd. I would think that if I were talking with someone about various issues and someone mentions that ‘oh by the way, Mark Foley is sending inappropriate emails to minors†it would get my attention. Hassert is covering his ass and he is going to pay. At least that is my guess (and hope).

The Dems and Reps are all just flawed humans with he Rep being held even more accountable, to God, for touting moral issues when they are no better.

I would tell you if I knew but I didn’t know what I should say. Not that I didn’t know what I knew but I really didn’t know what I should have known. If I knew what I known, then I would have reacted differently given the facts that I had the knowledge but didn’t know.
