MCIE to close!

<_< -------- Pay wouldn't be much worse, but the satisfaction level, "priceless!"------- Besides I like the idea of working on an Aircraft with TWA still painted on the side of it! 😉 Unlike the Canadian Connie, this one is still "Airworthy". One of the few, if not the only one, that is!
Enjoy!

...and if I'm not mistaken there's also an L1011 you can work on as well. It will be very cool seeing that painter in TWA colors as well.

<_< ------- Here's a link to the L1011 landing at MKC, it's now a static display. The engines were removed and sold. They still had time on them , but were not part of the original purchase. The museum will be using the 1011 as a class room for local kids to show a video about aviation (TWA) history over the entertainment system. The interior of this Aircraft was redone, and is in great shape. Enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRBKiDeZVHQ

Great link MCI.Thanks for posting it. While I never worked on L-1011's, I did get in on the last of the DC-10 era at AA and as frustrating as the airplane could be at times, I did like it.
