The humility in that statement is astounding. That she is highest ranking woman in any airline ever (I think) and can make that sort of statement is just another indication of why WN is so very successful. That attitude filters down from the top to all levels.
And, let me add...Give Herb Kelleher credit for recognizing a good thing (her talents and abilities) and using it to the fullest. Think about how forward thinking he was to put her in a high place of responsibility YEARS before it became the politically correct thing to put women in jobs high up and out front.
