You might want to read the reporst versus the headlines. AA is not doing GREAT. Yes they had a good quarter but overall the picture is anything but great and the danger of BK still lurks at AA. Do the research. Look at the debt that is coming due and then report back with your far reaching and intelligent post.

Of course you must be an AA'er. I still allow you AA people in my cockpit but I would never go out of my way to assit one of you POS's. No place for you bag? Weight restricted from PHX or LAS? Can I help you with stowage or a burn adjustment to get you on? I could if you were not with AA.

Keep up the good work NH/BB and Spacey. I am sure your commuting pilots appreicate your efforts.

I'm thinking 4th Quarter of this year. Now that the ink is dry on our contracts, one of our 'geniuses' will figure out that the fares have to increase (of course he/she/it will be rewarded for this brainstorm) in order to make a profit--most likely after they slide some beads on the abacus and figure out that there is demand for air travel after all!

Are you sure you ARE either a Commanding officer, or 2nd in command of an Aircraft, where you have the HUGE responsibility of the lives and saftey of 100 + people.

I would have thought that that type of behavior would have surfaced during your many pre-employment interviews !!

Sorry I have offended the AA'ers. But your NH/BB and space and the rather unusual inability of your crews to readback or listen to a taxi instruction at ORD have caused my patience with AA to be finished.

As NH/BB said, THIS IS WAR. So if we are in a war and everything is on the table should we discuss the hull loss issues that have plauged AA? LIT,Cali,JFK,BDL non-hull landing incidents at DEN (twice in just a few months) ORD 14R ILS in the 727 that wound up in the weeds.

Hate to play that card but you guys said it was war.

I really like how the AA Capts. wife of the LIT flight sued the airport for not having an acceptable overrun area. AND SHE FREAKIN WON??? Goes to show you how screwed up the legal system is in this country. The airport can not guard against careless and reckless behaviour by a management pilot.

What's the problem you ask? You might want to ask all the families that lost loved ones what's the problem?

How about that auto parts problem you guys got dinged for in the late 80's. About the time 191 was doing its Vmc demo.
