NE & New England opns/ PVD Incident

Anyone know how opns in the NE & New England are going ?

Things are getting in and out of PVD....albeit, slowed up.

I'm booked on CO today....and I was cancelled on the first flight this morning....and we're scheduled to go at 18:00 tonight....and that would be iffy at best I'm betting as well.

BOS seemed to have a very slow start. I don't believe any ML flights where airbourne until around 1130. I believe AUA, CUN, and SJU all cancelled. Heard it was very messy their this morning.

Good Luck to the BOS Station folks.

Well PVD Ops not doing so well as the airport has closed due to an Air Wisc CRJ sliding off the end of RWY 5, hope everyone is okay.

The 4:00 Shuttle flight to DCA left BOS on time, no ground delay so we landed DCA early.

I guess today is my lucky day

Any news on the Air Wisconsin plane in PVD today? Was everyone ok?? Any updates would be appreciated thanks

NBC 10 News reported that U.S. Airways Express Flight 3758 skidded as it landed at about 5:15 p.m. The plane had come from Philadelphia.

Air Wisconsin, which owns the aircraft, said 31 passengers and three crew members were on board the CRJ200 jet

Doesn't look like a very serious incident; it will interesting to find out how fast the plane "slid". (or if just got stuck). Media stories have been know to hype these things. Still no fun for those involved.

We got lucky with no major weather problems, ours was 3 maint delays. Flights had seats open so everyone made it out today. I know YUL and YOW canx everything today and tomorrow was already full until after 5pm.
Got lots of calls from NW and UA today for seats and CO was looking for about 30 tonight to LAS (their flight to IAH comes from EWR). Other than that not much of a problem for us. We dodged a bullet on this one and PHL since most of the delays were further north. PHL wasnt in the flow at all today, at least until I left at 630pm.

I'm glad to hear that everyone in PVD was okay and that we got lucky...these CRJs aren't really equipped for icy runway configurations in my opinion.
