New hire pay

People, I am really seriously thinking about a return to US, I used to work old US and saw a add indicating that pay was union scale, I havent followed the US board lately, so I wondering if it is old US or HP scale. This add was also hiring in US East cities like LGA and IAD. So if anyone could shed some light on the issue i would appreciate it
If you are going to a WEST city its the WEST $$$ East city its EAST $$$$$to start. But starting $$ could change depending on what happens in regard to the NMB ruling on any representational election(if needed).

They need to do something about this $7.50 starting pay at WEST. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel with regards to newbees on the ramp. They are not thugs and gangsters like PHL but, in one case, they actually hired a retarded kid. How does he work? He works like every day is his first day at work. His favorite thing is to walk around the ramp picking up FOD and then going up to someone (anyone) and saying, "I found this FOD on the ramp!" He has to be held by the hand and told each and every task that he must perform. Then you got the kids with body tattoos and piercings and earhole expanders and the fishhooks in their eyelids. They have people that can't pass the ramp class because they can't pass the test for the SIDA badge. Oi!
All in all, though, I'd rather work with the retards and fishhook-body tattoo people than thugs and gangsters.

I'm also thinking about going back to U. The grass isn't always as green on the other side of the fence as it appears. I wonder if I would even be eligible for rehire. I took the CWA buyout.. does anyone know?
