New Usairways Express Crj Painted In New Livery

I believe all Air Whisky planes will come painted in the new scheme since they all have to be repainted from UAL colors to US.

A friend of mine in PHL said that Air Whisky had to cancel some of their flights today because they didn't get out of the paint shop on time. anyone know if that is true?

only thing is that they did not put the flag logo on the winglet.

Dash 8's go to the paint shop in January! That can't do anything but look better! Our paint jobs have just about had it!!!

Saw a whole bunch of them on the ramp tonight. I think it's a pretty classy look. I know there were a lot of late flights tonight in the "F'ed" terminal. Latest flight was arriving at 2:30. A lot more people sleeping over than usual. Can't say if they were related to planes coming out of the paint shop.

They delayed flights were attributed to the BOS, LGA, EWR, IAD, ATL ground delay programs.

I can attest to Mark's comments, as I was part of the ground delays on both Thursday and Friday evenings. In each case, the agents were on top of the situation, especially in PIT waiting for a couple of flights each delayed by more than 2 hours. At one point a couple of agents called catering, which brought over soda and cups and ice for the waiting passengers.....what a class act those folks are!!!!!!!

In RIC yesterday, the 3PM departure to La Garbage was still there well after 4PM. The quick thinking agent took a great number of us from the 4:40 and put us on this one......

And you wonder why so many have stayed loyal for so long?????????

THERE's your answer!!!!!

Best wishes to all for the NEW US Airways.

PS The new livery looks great but I would have thought that PSA would have gotten some new colors first, as they are a wholly owned subsidiary..then again, if memory serves, most of those RJs are too new to repaint....

The AWAC aircraft all need the new paintjob anyway since they're still in the UAL livery.
PSA are all new aircraft and don't need paint until the cycle is up 5-7 years.
No need to spend more than we need to, especially right now. I assume the new CRJ-700's and 900's from the factory will be in the new livery.

Does anybody know if Air Wiskey is putting leather seats in?

That's what I figured regarding the paint--I was referring to ownership rather than the need for paint.

I agree with your point.

Thanks
