You might consider "Ramp Tramp" although usually there is already one at every station. :lol:

My personal favorite was "Shrek" for which could not have been a better nickname insofar he was very tall, wide, shaved head, docile and had the same orge facial expressions as the movie character. Another nom de plume was "Milk Dud Head" to a man who's cranium had the general shape and color of the matinee favorite.

Goof on the roof, Fletch, Lumpy, Mongo, Tricky Nick, Crank, the list goes on and on and each of these individuals have a story of how their names came about you could write a book about people in aviation and how they got their nicknames some like their names some hate em but they are all funny and they all have a story behind them. Forgot to mention poodle head, and bucket head. Almost forgot the Formanatee! More to come soon!
 
"Tin Man"

Named so after the character in The Wizard of Oz. He is unable to turn his head very far like someone that has a crick in their neck.
 
"Stinky" worked on the PHX ramp as a team lead. If he got in the bin with you, his pungent body odor and bad breath would make you wretch. His teeth - the few that he had - looked like yellow shards of glass. Terminated 2003.

"Dogsh!t", another PHX ramper, was stealing food from the break room refrigerator. Someone decided to make a burrito with dog feces as an ingredient. The bait was set and you can see where this story went... He was also known as "Hamburglar" after the McDonalds character.

Neither of these guys liked the nicknames given to them.
 
We also have a "Stinky" in CLT. He got his name because of a gastrointestinal problem. He is a great guy and well liked by everyone but you don't want to try to play fart football with this guy. You will lose! The best story I know about him is the time he decided to share his gift with the bank teller. He farted into the pneumatic tube at the credit union and sent it into the bank.

The ramp gives everyone nicknames, yes even those that work upstairs. If they resemble a celebrity, if They're a little "TOO" friendly with their coworkers, if they have an attitude, I'm sure a nickname was given to them, usually they're the last to know what it is.

I'd bring up another nick from LAS, but it involved the employees name. A play on words with her name and two "issues" about her; Lortab and snitching.

Unfortunately, Tumbleweed passed away a few years back.
 
"Wolverine"
He had facial hair like the character in "X-Men". He has since shaved it off but the name will remain.
