Was curious so looked up past polling accuracy in regards to the results of election.

Not looking good for Obama as the incumbant:

1964 Johnson actual was lower than polls said
72 Nixon actual was lower than polls
76 Ford actual was lower than Polls
80 Carter actual was lower than polls
96 Clinton actual was lower than polls

The two that got votes more than the polls said as incumbant were Reagan in 1984 and Bush in 2004.

So if history holds to its normal trends Obama can expect less actual votes than the polls say. The incumbants above that won even though they got lower than polled had a large lead to start with. The incumbants that were as tight as this race is in the polls lost the election.

Will find out tuesday is history repeats.
