Northwest again to Rome?!

NW used to fly Detroit-Rome untill 2005 as seasonal service, recording very high LF on A333.
Are there any possibilities/rumors to see NW coming back to FCO the next summer?
All the other north american "majors" fly to Rome (US Airways, Delta Air Lines, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, United Airlines, Air Canada, Air Transat).

Look at this updated NW European Network Map (with new services to BRU and DUS announced 2 weeks ago). There is FCO too! B)

I haven't heard a word about the route returning. My guess would be that it won't happen until more A330's come on line, since the ones currently in the fleet are (or will be) taking over any remaining DC10 flying.

Having said that, anything's possible....
