Now that KLM & Air France have linked up, I assume KLM will know be associated with SkyTeam? Will this connection lead to NWA & CO joining SkyTeam down the road...any thoughts? It seems only logical with the DAL/NWA/CO alliance.

Well, didn't UA & US already receive some type of immunity, or is that still a work in progress? I also thought the NW/CO/DL alliance had received *some* anti-trust immunity? Regardless, the mgmt. here is still touting the SkyTeam alliance as a more or less done deal (of course, they might be saying what they think wethe employees and/or Wall street want to hear, but  .....).

NW joining SkyTeam is only a matter of formaley etc. UA/US received their approval after it was anounced that KL and AF will merge and that it will get NW/CO together with DL.

UA and US do not have anti-trust immunity between themselves and it is not likely that any combination of CO, DL, or NW will have antitrust immunity. CO and NW do not have it now and no major domestic airlines have received it.
