NWA Unsafe Maintenance Practices-during strike

16 meetings prior to the strike and training was discussed. So the CMO most likely wined and dined by NWA management at the "meetings". Explains the decided lack of action by the CMO.
The inspector is sent for "retraining", thats a kick in the head. Assigned some "desk job" after he reported the findings.
MY RECCOMENDATIONS:
A complete flush of the management of the Minneapolis CMO.
A detailed examination of the SCAB training. Right down to the chair they sat in.
A fine and termination of every manager that didn't have the proper training or authority to sign off the work of the SCABS.
After examination of the SCAB record, determine if they have the proper license to do the work they were assigned to and give them the boot if they fail.
Recall of every part received during the in question period to determine its validity and airworthiness. EVERY PART.
After these examinations, a nice HEFTY fine for every finding, since this is after FAA headquarters slapped the CMO management on the wrist.
I'm sure there will be many comments on this thread. I hope the FAA is reading.

there's only one word to describe SCAB MAINTAINED NWA planes::: SSSCCCAAARRRYYY SCARY SCARY their new motto should be DONT FLY NWA

I agree with you Don, but no one has died.
They don't call it the 'Tombstone Agency' without reason.
Without numerous catastrophic 'events' the FAA will continue to do what they do best.

Indeed.

After all, FARs are written in blood.

Correct on that point, no one died yet....
