Hi Everyone:

I actually work for UAL, but keep in touch with an old friend in Cleveland who used to be a NWA mechanic before he retired about 5 years ago. He just sent me this e-mail, and I thought I would post this here as an FYI. I wish you all the best of luck during these trying times for our beloved industry. :(

Hi Mike
Some bullshit to amuse you.
I was contacted by Air Carriers last week to work for NWA in MSP if there is a strike.
$2000.00 sign up bonus, $34 pr hr, all expenses paid.
I asked them where they got my name and address, they said NWA.
I told them, I'm not intrested.
Would be nice if ALPA and Flite attendants would honor the picket lines.

Looks like they are getting desperate!!!

They just upped the hourly pay by $2 and doubled the bonus!!!
