NYSE to delist UAL (UAL) By Jennifer Waters
The New York Stock Exchange said after the bell Friday that it will delist UAL Corp. (UAL) , the bankrupt parent of United Airlines. In a press release, the exchange said that the company''s share price stayed under $1 for more than 30 days, triggering the delisting. Shares instead will be traded over the counter beginning April 3, NYSE said. UAL shares closed up a penny at 85 cents. With 66.5 million shares outstanding, UAL had a market value of $56.2 million. The NYSE said in December that UAL''s listing was under review. UAL was first listed on the NYSE on Aug. 1, 1969.
