mentally ill people should not be allowed to influence the course of the national debate dealing with our current depression .

to insinuate that Americans will ever give up sovereignty to some world government is pure rubbish ..

Now SOCIALISM on the other hand is a Definite possibility ... i for one do not care what economic system we use , as long as it protects and helps to better the lives of the American populace . Please remember that I'm a nationalist , my political goals are nothing more than the well being of the people , this means they must be feed , have a roof over their heads and have access to medical treatment .
While capitalism has been good for us , and is my preferred system of economy , it is failing us , and i do not intend to see tens of millions of Americans homeless , sick and starving to death .

I don't know. I suspect that maybe in or 100 years or so, politics as we know it might be quite different. I would not be surprised to see a world senate/governing body of some sort emerge. I think the idea of a nation/state is past it's prime. Nations are no longer independent. They rely on the world for energy, trade technology, food to name a few things. I would like to think that we will eventually out grow our ego centrism (I think that's the term I'm looking for) and realize that we can all be better off looking out for each other rather than just for our selves. As a species we have a lot of growing to do before that happens unless some out side threat unites us all.
