WEll...he's a Trump supporter, so my best guess is that he supports opening those trains back up and getting those people back on the street because "there's only 15 cases and they are getting better". Kind of funny....doesn't want to blame Trump for anything, then posts a picture of the exact reason we are social distancing....then wants to bring back what's in that picture. And by golly...he believes that Trump has the authority to do just that. He's not responsible for the outcome...he just has the authority.

Well for one I wouldn't have wasted 1.8 billion on thrive NYC. Oh but you meant the virus. Early in the crisis (when Trump was being called racist for restricting travel from China) he was telling people this virus was no big deal and to go see a show. People with brains finally pressured him into closing schools and businesses. I wouldn't have resisted that long. Also I wouldn't constantly attack the person i needed assistance from. This guy even feuds with the Governor during all this. Not too swift. Cuomo is a crook just like his father but at least I'll give credit where it's due in that hes actually working WITH Trump during a crisis. At least hes man enough to put aside his differences with the President and work toward the common good. More than I can say for the mayor.

Trump wants the country open for business. Considering that NYC is the nerve center for much of America's financial system, wouldn't it stand to reason that they should reopen as well? Will people avoid the subways and start driving? Where the hell will all those people park.

Also...I'll admit that TDS is kind of like the coronavirus. There are some of us who suffer the milder form of Trump Derangement Syndrome. The symptoms are mild...a bother, but life goes on. Then there is the more dangerous form of TDS...Trump Delusional Syndrome. It has the potential to kill.

Where did I say that? Trump wants to open the economy. How much does the economy depend on Sioux Falls, SD? How much depends on NYC? Some places you sure could open up. But not NYC. What's his plan for that, other than to insult Democrats.

Good point. This is something we're going to have to work through as a nation. Some places could likely open up pretty soon, while others would need to stay under safe-at-home orders.
