Negotiating does not infer paying anything. Anyone can be negotiating anything at any given time. The term is meaningless.

As I have said earlier, the only fault that appears to have been made is that they were not allowed to fly the next day after having been cleared to fly by the authorities. If there was an add collect made by NWA to allow them to fly to Phoenix, that would be something to be rightfully paid by LCC. If law enforcement kept the passengers past time to catch a flight to Phoenix that night I would actually argue that LCC should not pay hotel and food since it wasn't their action that caused the additional night's stay, rather it was law enforcement's decision. LCC, IMO, did not do anything wrong until the second day.

Ahhhh.... All this does is reinforce the fact that blackmail DELETED BY MODERATOR is alive and well in 2006. Furthermore, it encourages every minority to develop their own schemes to get free flights and/or ugrades. This is just a bunch of bullshirt and US should have told the Imams to go pound sand.
