On 3/6, Philly Customs eliminated our crew lane, so now, we will have to process with the passengers, or join Global Entry. You can start the Global Entry process by going to globalentry.gov

bad mistake----thought PHL customs was the best. Once in CLT Lufthansa got in front of two crews----1:15 min later we got through. Let the delays and missed conns begin.

We just got a message in our crew mail form the company that their was an incident involving a crew member and a customs officer resulting in crew members losing the crew line. It always takes one to mess it up for all. <_< I called inflight to verify and they confirmed ..

Typical "Big Government" overreaction! Punish the masses for the sins of the few.

Let me guess, we won't even get head of the line privileges, like every other country in the World gives us.

I suppose it's a good thing that we don't get all the government we pay for, I shudder to think what that might be like!

Would be nice if PHL added a few more Global Entry kiosks. There are often lines for the kiosks, and sadly many Global Entry users are technologically challenged.

But losing the crew line might not always be such a bad scene. I've been there when the "civilian" lines are empty while a dozen crew members are waiting on the the one line that will take them.

When I was a kid riding the bus to school (I rode the short bus), the bus driver would go ape over one kid acting up... the driver would be b!tchy and rude to everyone of us for a week, and the principle would put us all in detention. Are customs officials the rejects from short bus driver hiring?

Let's see: You blame the government because an "individual" ruined it for everyone else.? Precious!

Eh, I would not worry about it. The airlines will end up putting pressure on customs to reinstate the crew lines as soon as the 1 hour Island to domestic turns get wiped out and every crew doing them ends up 2hours late to push.

Some things are not worth worrying about.
