All clear just given. Still, going to be a mess. I'm just thankful that I'm not flying through Philly today!

That would be a nightmare at any airport..glad I am not traveling through PHL today--that plus the weather must be making for a pleasant environment there right now.

All around cluster in the NE today. PHL recovered pretty quickly for having the mian ticket counter closed for almost an hour. They called in reinforcements from the gates to help check in people at the counter. All told, delays averaged about 30 min for the 9:30-10am bank. Given the circumstances, our team in PHL did a great job. TSA and the local police on the other hand....... :down:

Now the FAA has implimented one of their new and improved airspace flow programs....Delays are up to 90 min to many of the airports in the North East. (BOS, LGA, EWR, PHL, DCA, BWI, ABE, MDT, BDL, PVD, MHT, etc.)

WRONG! 😀 It would take an additional 6 months for the union locals to decide whose work it was. While that was going on a non union contractor would bid on it causing labor strife and violence and subsequent injunctions delaying the demolition another 6 months. By then we'd be in an election cycle so the City wouldn't move on the project until the new mayor was in office further delaing the project.

Get the picture?? That's why we have a Philly Factor.

Why not enlist the help of the thug 22?? I'm sure they could get it done, they've already got a head start!! 😀

I was in PIT from 1pm to 9pm when I finally went home. I decided 8 hours in an airport were long enough. The flights were a mess with cancellations and multiple delays. Hopefully I can finally make it to Massachusetts on Monday morning.

Thanks to the LADIES in the PIT USAirways Club for getting me seats on various flights to try to get me out tonight. And for tomorrow's seat too.
