Oh and for the second CBS letter regarding our "obligation" to report to duty blah, blah, blah. BLOW IT OUT YOUR DITTY BAG. What is YOUR obligation as MANAGEMENT? Bunch of MORONS. The fear and intimidation tactics are no longer working here so I don't know what management plans to do. FIRE someone? PLEASE......put you on Level 1? WHATEVER.....again blow it our your rear.

Goold old PK. You can always rely on him to support the f/a group. Just look how well he staffs the bases. Not to mention the stellar job he is doing on negotiating our contract.
 
Those letters absolutely kill me. I mean what do they TRULY feel they'll gain? Oh the reminder part of being able to follow section blah, blah, blah really got me. Some (maybe a few) could care or be worried about that. Knowing people that have lost family/friends this time last year and have sick relatives this year, this only adds fuel to their fire. People are realizing more and more as time goes on what is important to them. This job is replaceable and god knows the income could be made up with a closers position at McDonald's or foaming a latte at Starbucks. People are not that concerned with the consequences of managements "iron fist". I'd be one of the first to flip the bird and tell them where to go and the quickest way there. 🙄
 
it seems fitting this company would once again show blatant contempt for the reserve group by not building one line for the reserves with inviolable Christmas or Christmas eve in Philadelphia. it seems all other bases were afforded this seeming luxury as the company sees it. I find it a truly mean spirited way to treat the employees that operate our airline during the holidays. the hoodlums responsible for building these lines have no conscience.


I totally agree but so what's new? Us junior reserves in PHL always get the shaft so the blockholders can get their way. Oh, and don't even get me started on CA! For those of you AFA leaders and for those of you in mgmt who are reading this board: WE RESERVES WILL RISE UP AND WIN! Just wait and see who gets the last laugh. We will retaliate so you better start doing what is right or else. cough. cough. sneeze. cough. Ugh! I feel like I'm getting a cold. I hope I don't have to call in sick for the holidays. Who cares. I only have 16 hours anyway. It's not like they need me and I'm only a number to you anyway. God forbid anybody ever see us as being human.
 
How many of you would have been able to hold a reserve line with Christmas off? How many of you go to Union meetings? I just flipped through the contract...not a word in there about making X number of reserve lines with Christmas off. I hope these issues will make you all get involved in the union...I know they did for me!

Well let's see, John McCoogle is most likely out flying etb today because he can't make ends meet while poor Grace sits in the office silenced. We know HE must have the hand in what is communicated to the PHL members. Funny thing though is the communications is extremely sparse. I remember him LOVING to write and FULL of information (readily available I may add) all of the time before holding the LECP seat. We STILL have not heard anything from Mike Flores either. Why is something that they know to be a "HOT TOPIC" with reserves goes silent. It takes but a few minutes to put an E-line together to put their SPIN on the issue. I'll tell you one thing this union has more stories that Mother Goose or a Golden Book. I just hope they TRULY understand the ramifications for what the company did and their lack of action. 🙄
 
As far as I am concerned, my OFF days in Nov and Dec are all INV. I don't care how many threatening e- mails we receive. (BTW, we received another one yesterday! :mf_boff: )

I have to just say this again until folks in PHL get in...

GET RID OF JOHN MCCORKEY WHEN THE ELECTION IS HELD IN A FEW MONTHS.. then PHL f/as can have an opportunity for real change.

MCCorkey is in cohoots with Mike F.....McCorkey is stupid and Mike F. needs to brush his back to keep the MECP seat.

MCcorkey has ten people in the office working for the Local, while he sits on his ### and does nothing but collect FPL from a union he has always hated!!!

You guys are nutts for keeping MCCorkey in office when he has a known record of being lazy, manipulative, self serving moron...and now collecting your dues that keeps him collecting FULL pay and Expenses from an organization he has always hated.

Some one really needs to campaign to more than the 297 people that voted him in. Heck the base has 2200.

You want change....THEN CHANGE THE LEADERSHIP until someone proves they can do the job without being LAZY and BOUGHT by your dues $$$ to do NOTHING about changing the status quo with this managment!!!
 
The breakdown of what needed to take place is there is dispariging treatment of DUES paying AFA members. This has nothing to do with Mikes retirement, we all lost our retirement. Lets stay in the moment. There are people that are Reserves that deserve better. As far as the rest of what is being debated I have no comment because it gets too diluted.
The Union are the Watch Commanders and as far as I am concerned it is negligent for them to brush the situation off.They say they want a better life for Reserves? Well put your actions into practice. As far as I am concerned the discrimination of the affected Reserves deserves Immediate Attention!!!!!!! We are all tired BUT Fiduciary Duty is not something that you can brush off. Then you wonder why we have to become Gangsters working with the Union is a one way street. How many times are you going to let us down?
 
Don't complain to loudly....they could always close your crew base...and then you would be non reving during the holidays to get to work....
