Gee, Dog Wonder, it's a shame it's not a multiple choice - I liked more than one.....

Call me blind to the truth, or call it wishful thinking, call it what you will. I've had to many things happen in my life for me not to believe in miracles. So, I choose to believe in miracles. I say be an optimist also!

I don't understand, we were all aware of possible work slowdowns issues etc..why was management not required to be on the property, making sure things were being taken care of for our passengers/company. The majority of the workers have to be present on a holiday, why not management...? They should be held accountable...this was unacceptable, upper management should have their jobs in PHL - apparently we all know there is bad management in PHL, how long does it take those above to address the problem.....

Don't like it, then leave.

You are making threats your body can't carryout.

Seek immediate mental help.

This is not the old USSR.

I don't disagree with the thought behind this post... All hands on deck... But really, if Bruce Lakefield, Baldanza, Crellin, and all the rest were out there throwing bags, checking people in, or whatever, the following things would have occured:

1. Employee morale would not have been boosted.
2. Productivity would have declined as somebody would have needed to show Bruce, Ben, Al, et al what to do (not making fun... just saying CSA's don't know how to be a CEO and a CEO doesn't know how to be a CSA)

The only help these guys would have been is if you needed a direction in which to point an angry mob...

They had one guy..rumor has it..got into Al's face about the staffing problems at PHL in the mid to late spring. Big Al promptly showed him the door. The rampers at PHL I know said this manager went to the mat for the station but was fought every inch of the way by BIG AL and the rest of the MBA's at DCA..all DCA was interested in is a lower body count...no provisions built in for irregular ops or and it has happen in past years..holiday calloffs. The problem is and remains that there is a skeleton crew nbr at PHL and no one at DCA would address it.
