Odd that an incident that happened in the US gets more coverage in the UK. Guess gossip is more important. Its that "damn liberal media again". Dont want the people questioning airlines commitments to safety.

I wonder if they tried to turn the igniters on. The engines may have just flamed out due to the altitude.

The forward motion of the plane would have spun the engines fast enough for a restart, all they probably needed was a spark.

It probably didnt get much coverage cause it was a ferry flight with no pax, but i do remember it mentioned on CNN or headline news when it happened. I dont know exactly when it happened, but it was sometime this year.
