Everyone that was getting laid off got kicked out today at 3pm..

Spinoid and Chopper were having a celebration at 6pm..

They love it.. Spinoid wants to cut more but Presto said wait a couple
of weeks and we can spin the wheel to get rid of more..

But the good news is they company needs more planners.

I feel for the victims of this terrible tyrant running the airline. in my city, all 21 of us rampers will find out tomorrow when we will get furloughed. god helps us all. all of us hard working employees, not mgmt, are the victims of this airline's inept mgmt. good luck to all of you who got kicked out today

Finally that management team did something right!!!!!! The only unhappy ones in the hangar were the ones who had to stay!!!

On a lighter side I find it rather amusing that after almost a month of having the majority of mechanics painting walls, scrubbing floors and painting everything red, green or blue getting all ready for the Airbus S Checks, that someone finally thinks about trying to put the Aircraft in the tail dock to see if it fits. Well folks.....one out of three tail docks worked.....The AB would not fit in South or Mid dock? I think I would have put this right up front of the priority list. DO THE AIRBUS FIT IN THE TAIL DOCKS???? It was funny to see 500k+ of annual salary(4 mgr's and 3 supervisors) standing on Mid Dock holding tapes and trying to figure it out. 😛 😛

Lets see......no parts, very few qualified airbus mechanics and tail docks which do not fit the aircraft. Could they be setting the place up to fail?

This statement is niether true or factual.

Planning in PIT and CLT Base have both suffered from both natural and not so natural attrition since September of last year. PIT saw a few replacements in Base Maintenance...but not enough to keep pace with the losses across the entire the board within the 'Planning Classification".

PIT is losing the 3 Junior Most Base Maintenance Planners ....these 3 will be offered the chance to fill "Vacancies" within the classification that have gone un-filled outside of the actual Base Maintenance Planning Group.

Hangar 5 may be swamped with Planners at the moment , due to the very fact that Hangars 1 and 2 have been closed...but all this will be sorted out very quickly..as other long vacant positions are filled at the off-sites like RIDC Park

To be Blunt.. Your full of crap!!

Right now as I write this there are what 6 planner jobs on the COB's.. 6.. So your over staffed in Base how do they post planner jobs.. Arn't you union.. Oh yes I forgot.. Targeted selection right..

Your pathetic.. The list of planners all holding the door open watching the mechanics walk out is a mile long.. Everyone of them joined Spinoid in his celebration of his super leadership skills..

Two S checks.. They need 4 planners total. Thats it.. Instead you have what, 20.. You sir are a damn liar and of course a management wanna be.

Management Wanna Be? Time for a Wiz Quiz my Brother.

Your figures on planning are wrong...and nothing is wrong with something being fully staffed...unless your agenda is out of spite?

I don't like saying good-bye to anyone..regardless of their job title...and You sir are 100% wrong about your assertions on Planning..as well as your feeble , foul-mouthed attempt at damaging my character as a Union Member. I see a Planner or a Utility person in the same light as I do any other Union Brother or Sister...so based on your attacks of fellow Union Members , I.E. the Planners , just how do you stack up as a true "trade unioninst" ?

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Best wishes to hangar five's employees.

The tail dock is a steel structure which the aircraft is backed into enabling the mechanic to access the vertical and horzontal stablizer's and other areas of the tail. Its nothing more than an advanced form of scaffolding which when properly constructed wraps tight around the tail of the aircraft providing a safe and stable work area and also has the proper clearance that allows jacking of the aircraft.

As far as planners go, after checking the cob's I did notice a bid for some senior planners but I did not meet the qualifications due to the fact I had no planning time? The utility person who upgraded two years ago to the position is eligible but myself as a A & P mechanic with 20 yrs experience is not? But thats the system....

True...6 Planning jobs have recently been posted. Those same jobs have been sitting un-filled in fact not theory for months...but the work is being piled on someone elses plate at the expense of "Unionized Labor" 3 of those 6 jobs recently posted will be filled by the 3 Junior most Base Planners whom have already recieved their abolishment paperwork. This too is a deviation on the preferential Bid process...and the IAM should be raising Holy Sand over how this is being handled. I for one expect a number of grievances to be filed by a few whom would love to have a 7 to 3 job for once in their U career.

Planners joined Spina in a celebration of Union Brothers losing their jobs? I doubt it...and if they did? They aren't much of a person for starters....and are some sorry Union Members to begin with.

This is a new tagline for you... but surely it is not a new realization?
