Planned Parenthood Sets New Record

Or maybe those areas have the highest concentration of uninsured or under-insured people.

No rebuttal to the Sanger quotes? Why I'm as astonished as you that a Progressive would utter such words. After all we're constantly reminded how the Progressive is the smartest person in the room!!

I guess that was especially true for Ms Sanger being that she spoke at many Klan meetings. Just for grins do a search for "The Negro Project" and see what you get.

Also take note of the comment made by justice Ginsburg as recently as 2009

"Particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding "or Abortion."

I did not bother to cite this as it appears on virtually every site I visited.

Margaret Sanger aligned herself with the eugenicists whose ideology prevailed in the early 20th century. Eugenicists strongly espoused racial supremacy and “purity,” particularly of the “Aryan” race. Eugenicists hoped to purify the bloodlines and improve the race by encouraging the “fit” to reproduce and the “unfit” to restrict their reproduction. They sought to contain the “inferior” races through segregation, sterilization, birth control and abortion.

Wen was that said?

Does it matter? If a newsletter that Ron Paul was associted with 30 years ago is fair game then so are the views of the Founder of Planned Parenthood from 80 years ago. Did you google "The Negro Project"?

Liberals in general are the most racist MF'ers I've ever met.

And you and Ron Paul can continue to shout in the empty room and judge your progress. How is that working out for you anyway?

You forgot to label everyone else a critter, bankster, and whatever other coined, blanket statement you are throwing out this month.

With that, notice how quick they point the finger, play the race card?

Wake up and smell the roses because you are knee deep in pansies and don't know it.

Did you visit this one? It is from the writings of Margaret Sanger, but it could have been written by any conservative on this board

First: we are convinced that racial regeneration like individual regeneration, must come "from within." That is, it must be autonomous, self-directive, and not imposed from without. In other words, every potential parent, and especially every potential mother, must be brought to an acute realization of the primary and central importance of bringing children into this world. KCF adds - sounds like "personal responsibity"

Secondly: Not until the parents of the world are thus given control over their reproductive faculties will it ever be possible not alone to improve the quality of the generations of the future, but even to maintain civilization even at its present level. Only by self-control of this type, only by intelligent mastery of the procreative powers can the great mass of humanity be awakened to the great responsibility of parenthood.

Thirdly: we have come to the conclusion, based on widespread investigation and experience, that this education for parenthood and of parenthood must be based upon the needs and demands of the people themselves. An idealistic code of sexual ethics, imposed from above, a set of rules devised by high-minded theorists who fail to take into account the living conditions and desires of the submerged masses, can never be of the slightest value in effecting any changes in the mores of the people. Such systems have in the past revealed their woeful inability to prevent the sexual and racial chaos into which the world has today drifted.

Now I'm not sure if you are familiar with the status of the Negro in the early 20th century. Pardon my use of the term "negro", but that is the term that was used back then. She's pretty much saying don't populate if you can't support. Don't populate if you aren't ready. Very conservative sounding if you ask me.

Who said this?

Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.

Or this?

We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.
Eugenics is … the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems.
Negroes present the great problem of the South.

It wasn't Ron Paul, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh or any other right winger. Turms out the quotes are from no less than Margaret Sange, Founder of Planned Parenthood. Almost makes you proud to a Liberal doesn't it? Want a really staunch racist? Scratch the surface of a liberal.

What do the quotes have to do with PP of today?

Nice attempt at deflection. Empty room? Never been to Ron Paul rally? He out drew Obama almost every place he went. Little community center near where I live held 600. Dr. Paul had to set up video screens to accomodate the other roughly 600 who stood in the MN winter to hear him speak.

Your person uttered those words I posted not me. Sorry when the cold hard truth comes round to bite you in the britches. The campaign for Liberty grows daily.

She was by most accounts a flaming racist who died an alcoholic. Don't try to revise history.

Might explain why most abortions in this country are performed on minorities. Face it, you support an organization founded by an avowed racist and NOTHING can change that. If the organization wanted to change it's image they might relocate out of some of the inner city locations.

I expect disingenuous quote from the likes of South and Dell, but I thought you were better than that. Try reading The entire quote from Ginsberg.

I'm OK with that.Business go where their customers are located. Inner city locations are more likely to need the services that PP provides. Would not make a lot of sense to put one in Bel Air or Manhattan.

I was not aware they had an image problem. Seems the people who are concerned about their image are ones who would not use their services any way.

I just posted her words. Didn't rewrite a single one of them. Any of those you disagree with???

NO! You read it! Their words speak for themselves. Who am I to interrupt?

Since you like big words like disingenuous why not try "Eugenics" and her organizations praise to German researh as humanitarian. The Holocaust happed and os did Ms Sanger.

And from Ms Sanger herself:

"I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan...I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses...I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak...In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered." (Margaret Sanger: An Autobiography, P.366)
