Well dell, you don't have to agree with 100% of what someone is saying. Take a long hard look at the southern tier of red states and you'll find a lot of folks who don't cotton to "race mixing" and typically refer to a person of the black race by using a word that rhymes with jigger.

IT's kind of funny because if your read her stuff, it becomes apparent that conservatives are preaching pretty much the exact same thing to "fix" our society....a two parent household. Not relying on welfare. Taking responsiblity for bettering yourself.

Because we don't believe in starving babies that have already been born...and which is why we don't mind our tax dollars paying the light bill at planned parenthood so that maybe these folks can get birth control to keep the baby from being born in the first place. The right wing wants to rip title X funding from planned parenthood because "they perform abortions". They PREVENT millions more than they perform, but that gets overlooked by the "entitlement spending" crowd.

My party? Heaven's no. I'm a free thinker and I don't rely on a party to tell me what I should and should not believe. Last I heard, God wasn't voting on any laws.

Well dell...a funny thing happened after the civil rights act of 64. A lot of democrats turned republican. The republicans of 1865 aren't anything like the repbulicans of today. Those guys would be shouted down as "liberals" today. People change. The democrats who "kept nigras in check" are republicans today. The ones in 64 who wanted to keep their seat in congress "converted" in teh Southern Strategy in 1968. You certainly ARE describing the democrats from 1865 to 1964. But not the ones post 64.

It's what I advocate as well so what's your point? I have my own beliefs on abortion and they ae between me and God. So if you do't believe in abortion don't have one.

I'm not defending any party's values. I am defending MY values. I happen to believe that birth control is a GOOD thing. I don't think that abortion as a form of birth control is right, but I don't want to ban them because there ARE situations where they are necessary. Trust me on this. So you have to take the good with the bad. Kind of like guns. PP mostly provides birth control but 3% of their business is abortions. Gun owners like to hunt, but there's a percentage of them that pick up an AR15 and shoot up schools. You don't support an outright ban on guns....I don't support an outright ban on abortions.
