Where is written the government is obligated to protect your religious ideals? You are free to practice your religion as you see fit with out government interference. There is nothing that says the government need to enforce religious dogma on the populace.La Li Lu Le Lo said:THE TRUE LIBTARD AGENDA!!!!
It is as I have stated before (about gay marriage), this is nothing more than a libtard agenda to attack the sanctity of marriage.

Personally, I take my thirty plus years of marriage to the same woman seriously. In the coming years the term marriage won't mean anything at all thanks to the liberals.
One more person who does not even address the issue of a 50% divorce rate honoring the sanctity of marriage. Not to mention that Horses and children cannot give consent. Are you so insecure with your marriage that the actions of someone you do not even know some how affects your marriage?Black Magic said:In the coming years the term marriage won't mean anything at all thanks to the liberals. If you want to marry a horse, child, or as many partners as you want go for it! If it feels good and doesn't hurt anybody let it all hang out is the new mindset. It's only a matter of time...
I have been married ONE time. I am still married.SparrowHawk said:
Perhaps he will share that with us.
This must be the "Sanctity of Marriage" our colleague refers to.
“[O]ne of the strongest factors predicting divorce rates (per 1000 married couples) is the concentration of conservative or evangelical Protestants in that county,” the researchers explain. Religiously conservative states Alabama and Arkansas have the second and third highest divorce rates in the U.S., while religiously liberal New Jersey and Massachusetts have two of the lowest."

Well it would be less so if you, 700UW, Dog Wonder, and Glenn posted less.Ms Tree said:The level of ignorance in this thread is disturbing.
As I thought. You have nothing to support your position. Just more ignorant insults.La Li Lu Le Lo said:Well it would be less so if you, 700UW, Dog Wonder, and Glenn posted less.

The level of ignorance in this thread is disturbing.
Before 1967 the same stupid arguments were used against interracial marriage. Before that the same stupid arguments were used to argue against womens suffrage. It's been nearly 100 years since women got the right to vote and nearly 50 years since interracial marriage was allowed. Some how we have managed to avoid animals and 'what ever' getting married.Black Magic said:
It's only ignorant to you because you are not deep forward thinking person. 20 years ago you would be laughed out of the room proclaiming gay marriage should be allowed, today we now have it. Same thing will happen with polygamy, children, horses, whatever. How many generations it takes nobody knows but it'll come. It's a slow poison.. see you don't need consent if it makes you happy right?! Who is the government to tell a person that they are an adult at 18 when every person matures differently. As far as the divorce rate with heterosexuals that has long been a downward spiral from the erosion of god/church in this country, nothing new there. While your at it don't forget to include the divorce rate of the homos, not many want to talk about it with the new movement but it's quite high.
