THE TRUE LIBTARD AGENDA!!!!

It is as I have stated before (about gay marriage), this is nothing more than a libtard agenda to attack the sanctity of marriage.
Where is written the government is obligated to protect your religious ideals? You are free to practice your religion as you see fit with out government interference. There is nothing that says the government need to enforce religious dogma on the populace.

You can call me all the names you want. Until you can back up your idiotic arguments you are just making a fool of your self.

Is he the one who's been married 4 times?

Perhaps he will share that with us.

This must be the "Sanctity of Marriage" our colleague refers to.

“[O]ne of the strongest factors predicting divorce rates (per 1000 married couples) is the concentration of conservative or evangelical Protestants in that county,” the researchers explain. Religiously conservative states Alabama and Arkansas have the second and third highest divorce rates in the U.S., while religiously liberal New Jersey and Massachusetts have two of the lowest."

I don't much care about it one way or another but I'm questioning the sanity of anybody that wants more than one.

I sure would nt want it for my self.  Having said that the only contact I have had is on TV. I have watched Sister Wives with the Mrs and I must admit I find it pretty fascinating.  I think some of their beliefs are a bit to old world for me but what ever.  I do see some of the benefits.  The idea of growing up in a large family is some what appealing.  I am the youngest by over 15 years and only have 2 siblings.  The idea of having 15 or 20 brothers and sisters sounds like it could be fun.  No idea of the reality of it as I have no basis to compare it with.  You have more than 2 parents to help with child rearing.

I went into the show thinking they are freaks and it's stupid.  The show definitely changed my perspective.  Whether or not they  are representative of polygamists in general I do not know (they tend t keep a low profile as it is illegal).  The kids seem well rounded and normal.  They seem to have their own opinions (some want to have plural marriages others don't.  I know it's TV, I know it's not all real.  I also believe this show seems to be pretty well done and not too scripted as far as I can tell.

I think it is the height of hypocrisy that people like La La who use name calling and insults when objecting to marriage equality never seek to pass any laws or restrictions on divorce.  I would think a 50% divorce rate in the US would be of more concern than a few homosexuals getting married.  Utter BS.

In the coming years the term marriage won't mean anything at all thanks to the liberals.  If you want to marry a horse, child, or as many partners as you want go for it!  If it feels good and doesn't hurt anybody let it all hang out is the new mindset.  It's only a matter of time...

One more person who does not even address the issue of a 50% divorce rate honoring the sanctity of marriage.  Not to mention that Horses and children cannot give consent.  Are you so insecure with your marriage that the actions of someone you do not even know some how affects your marriage?

The level of ignorance in this thread is disturbing.

Well it would be less so if you, 700UW, Dog Wonder, and Glenn posted less.
As I thought.  You have nothing to support your position.  Just more ignorant insults.

It's only ignorant to you because you are not deep forward thinking person.  20 years ago you would be laughed out of the room proclaiming gay marriage should be allowed, today we now have it.  Same thing will happen with polygamy, children, horses, whatever.  How many generations it takes nobody knows but it'll come.  It's a slow poison.. see you don't need consent if it makes you happy right?! Who is the government to tell a person that they are an adult at 18 when every person matures differently.  As far as the divorce rate with heterosexuals that has long been a downward spiral from the erosion of god/church in this country, nothing new there.  While your at it don't forget to include the divorce rate of the homos, not many want to talk about it with the new movement but it's quite high.

Before 1967 the same stupid arguments were used against interracial marriage.  Before that the same stupid arguments were used to argue against womens suffrage.  It's been nearly 100 years since women got the right to vote and nearly 50 years since interracial marriage was allowed.  Some how we have managed to avoid animals and 'what ever' getting married.

Yes you do need consent.  It's a legal thing.  I guess you just do not get that concept.  The legal age of consent is something that applies to everyone, not just certain people.  That is an important distinction that you fail to grasp.

Divorce rate has been decreasing since 1983.  I guess abandoning god and morals is good for marriage.  According to this article, the divorce rate is the lowest since 1970.

Do you look up anything before you post it or do you just hope no one catches you when you make stuff up?
