Poor baggage handling at PHL

Actually, my friend,

Tempe is making much more of an effort that CCY ever did to get Philly right. Not saying it can be done, but they are investing, and have made some personnel changes, and are at least trying to hire on added help.

If there is another meltdown as there was in 2004, I think that would prove catastrophic. Sadder yet is the fact that there are employees who are hellbent on CAUSING such a meltdown.

When you're mad at management, it always helps to screw the customer...NOT!

A meltdown will NOT achieve the goals some employees think it will. It would, however, compromise the viability of their futures as well as that of their colleagues.

PHL is a challenge--let's hope Scott is up to it.

My BEST to you all...

Time for results, not efforts. The time for efforts has come and gone. Their disregard for the pax is evident in their results so far. Of course Doug and pals don't have their bags lost or their trips (vacations) destroyed; so they have no real reason to care.....

 maybe if they gave the IAM there 29 cities back
instead of contracting them out we would start to do are job again,What goes around comes around MR p

the attitude you have is one of the reasons phl is the way it is. regardless of what cities you have or do not have you should do your job period. if not, go elsewhere.

Not EVERYTHING that goes wrong in PHL is US's fault and I just wish someone would bring that out. Most reporters are inherently lazy and this guy is no different.
So? Does the flying public care? No. Who do they purchase their ticket from and have the RIGHT to expect service for said ticket? The mayor? The TSA? NO!!!

Bottom line is the performance of something as simple as getting a bag from point a to point b at the same time as the passenger seems to escape this and prior management teams. Pure and simple, it is their responsibility to fix what ever the issues are, be it labor, the TSA, equipment, or what ever the EXCUSE of the day is.

Fire in the hole, baby, fire in the hole.....
