The OP implied that this single incident of abuse was enough to prohibit gays from adopting children yet the abundance of examples of abuse involving heteros was not mentioned in regards to prohibiting hetero couples from adopting. Funny that huh?

Hmmm... Genuinely good question. I have no trouble endorsing the rights of homosexual couples to adopt children (nor do I oppose interracial adoptions), but this case is indeed troubling. I would say the state needs to review that situation very closely.

As for heteros raising children to be White (or any race for that matter) Supremacists, is that even possible? I don't know what the adoption process is like from state to state, but I imagine that a fairly comprehensive background check, to include associations, is done to prevent that (and other things) from happening. Were they to somehow "slip through the cracks" I would think that the damage would be about equal. As a WS, there may be no physical harm, but recovering from the immense mind #### that's required for those beliefs to be installed could take decades.

Never thought about the white supremest adoption thing. I personally have no interest in having some racist adopt a child but that sets a weird president. What about a Jesus camp person? Orthodox Jew? What about any of the other fundamental religious types? Member of PETA, Green Peace. What about the groups that main stream people think are out of the norm? Who sets the standard?

There are some black and white I think that most of us can agree on. Racists are bad. Good loving families who most of us would consider good people is good. It's that gray area that makes me uneasy. The line between black and gray makes me a bit uneasy.

I said most not all. Perhaps they, like unions realize that their flock is shrinking and if they wish to stay in business, they need to keep up with the times.
