Maybe it's a combination of that and the fact that everything really is increasing in price. It's called a tariff.

No everything is not increasing in prices. You can say it over and over but it’s just not true. And again I’m sorry you’re on a fixed income but seeing your picture you look like you’re in good health to work PT in a Super Market to make a few extra bucks. Maybe you can get something working only 3 or 4 days a week?

Why work when I am enjoying life? I didn't say I couldn't afford them. I afforded them under Bidenflation and I'm affording them now. but your head is in the sand if you haven't seen prices going up on everything. But....just like during Bidenflation, stores ran sale items. They still do. For example, Farmland bacon is now almost $9 per pound. but it's on sale this week for $3.99.
But let me ask you....if tariffs don't make prices go up, and if "affordability is a Democrat hoax, why did Trump roll back the tariff on grocery items? But will it do any good? As he himself said "It's hard to bring things down once their up". And he's right. Once the prices go up, they tend to stay up. So even if he rolls back the tariffs (which we were told would not impact Americans) we must remember those words "it's hard to bring things down once they are up".

Why am I a fan of President Trump? Because almost ALL the other Presidents in my lifetime did almost NOTHING about all the bullshit going on around the World. And the ones who did do something both Democrats and Republicans did very little compared to Trump.
