What's new

profit sharing checks already deposited

The west should be cut out just because of CONTRACT LANGUAGE? Come on, give me a break. WE STILL DID THE SAME WORK ANY OF YOU DID!

The fact that we were included is LOGICAL.

Im sorry you guys took cuts, but that is not the fault of the WEST!

I'm sorry you guys only make a lot less but thats not the fault of the EAST! The Fault lies on the shoulders of Canale You need to get together with your Brothers and Sisters and file a DFR to force Canale to continue section 6 talks.

If the east had a section 6 opportunity at hand we would be beating the company over the head with it...

Bottom line is if the shoe was on the other foot you would be pissed just like us about this issue of contract vilolations by Canale if money was be taken out of your pay.

Non union....mine's deposited with a 3/17 date....Happy Saint Patricks Day all y'all!

about 800....1/3 less than last year, but more than I expected.

From a West employee, I'll say it again as a preface to my following comments: The Company should not have included West FS in the pool. Now, here's why. The pool was contractually mandated by the BK CBAs for East. I do not know what transpired to get me PS. What SHOULD have happened if the Company was to give West union employees a PS check is that it should have come out of the AIP fund. The PS fund was earmarked contractually for the EAST contract employees.

Inquiring minds would like to know,

Why is it that whenever profit sharing is mentioned, (and the key root word here is SHARE) there really is no sharing involved? Think back to when you were a kid. Your Mother or Father said share with your bro or sis. That meant give them half. You and your friend cut the neighbors grass for ten bucks. 5 dollars each. HALF. It doesn't matter that he cut, and you edged. You both participated in the work. Two sisters cleaning the kitchen, one washes, one dries. Both play an equal part. When it comes to sharing the 49 million, the pot should be divided equally among however many employees were a part in earning those profits.

49 mil divided by X employees = profit sharing

No one group earned any more or less than the next group. It was earned as a team effort. If my thinking is wrong here, help me to understand why.

No disrepect intened, but we bought and paid for the profit sharing, and you didn't.......

not one of us EN employees in ABE got more than 66.00 of the profit sharing checks. Im just curios how does that work for the owned express EN and PS

Does anyone know enough about this that they can tell me............

If the Company took the money that went to the West Fleet Service group and put it back into the pool for everyone in the Company that was in the plan, what would be each Employee's share?

the other 34,286 employees in the company would receive an extra $3.84 on their profit share checks.

Does it really matter, or do the other 35,000 employees really care that much? What is said and done is just that. And, really, if the West Fleet wasn't included, you would not be seeing a big enough difference across the board to make your check that much larger.... sorry to burst your bubble.

With FS, while I don't have exact numbers, consider this. There's about twice as many (maybe a little less) East FS then West. West also makes a bit less, probably 25% or so when you look at the workgroup as a whole. I'm going to guess 30-40% more has East gotten West as well.

Thought as much on the $$. I say send the East F/S their 3.84 each.
