QIK - Cargo and Pax Counts

Has anyone heard how we are going to get the weight and balance numbers to the flight deck once we switch over to QIK?
Will it be a hard copy before the jetway pulls like HP does now or is there something else in the works to send the numbers via ACARS?
 
Most likely...a chalkboard with the numbers. The load master will be using an abacas to figure out .... the CG.

So how long till the next merger...

I think whenever they put this part together its going to be a disaster. The IT department from all Ive seen has many problems. I just wish we would keep Sabre for all functions

DECS is SABRE isn't it?
If SABRE is going away in the new year shouldn't fleet be getting info on what the new system will be?
 
Sabre res is going way and we will use qik. Sabre Decs is staying.

LGA777 is correct. DECS is going to remain available. Station trainers are supposed to be taking a class soon to explain how ramp agents will be able to retrieve bag and passenger information for their flights using QIK or SHARES or whatever system is the flavor of the week.

It's a shame that SABRE does not have GUI's or any other graphic system to simply enter passenger information or retrieve baggage data. Perhaps the drive to improve the software is non-existant.
