I think they block that feature for flights orgininating in Dulles. You should have flown out of Reagan or BWI instead.

You go to the aisle, on the aircraft on the day of departure, you walk down the aisle right next to the seat, look down and stare at the seat a for a while.

flyingman, this site is primarily used by employees of the airline(s). Honestly, we don't know the customer features of united.com so don't have the answers to your questions.

Some responses may have been less than helpful, and as a United employee I apologize. But most of us don't know the answers to questions about when to book tickets or how to view seat maps. It may be better to call Reservations.
