First fair warning I know diddly squat about flying. I need a basic answer to a question so a story I am writing can be somewhat accurate at least and still give some detail.

What kind of planes would someone be using with a seating capacity, not including pilot(s) of around 15 persons with the ability to carry a decent amount of cargo for each person? With decent range speed and other nifty things. I know I''m probably not making this easy but any responses would be much appreciated and weblink/plane stats would be extremly helpful.

Thanks in advance for reading and responding 🙂

You would be pushing it a caravan. Go with the beech 1900.

try www.airliners.net for ideas. you will find all kinds of information/specs/pictures etc...

The B1900D is a good suggestion. The Beech 99 is also similar to what you want.... Or try the SAAB 340 for a little more room. The Jetstream is a 19 seat job. Sexy looking aircraft too.

Jetstream ..sexy? I always thought it was fuel leak in search of a yaw damper.

Sexy? Maybe the cute little belly turns them on?

Or the nose?

Or maybe the tail?

Or maybe the gear? That's it, what a great pickup line, "nice gear baby!"
