Hey Mark

I was just talking to my buddy who builds RC planes and he said to go to this web site and you should be able to find the info you need.

www.rcuniverse.com

Hope this helps.

You can check with your local hobby shop or club and see if they have an annual auction. Edmonton has one in October, and Red Deer used to have one in the spring. I''ve gone to a few, and the deals were awesome. Lots of the planes are built, and they have everything for sale. Good Luck

Hi Mark
Yes I am into R/C airplanes.I have a trainer and a J3 that has yet to be built. They are fun to fly and as a pilot they are harder then you think to fly if you are first learning. But put them into the hand of someone who has done it for a few years and they will make it look easy as eating pie.As for helicopters well l have yet to see one make a landing without having to do repairs. But R/C flying is great and you can get to fly and build any airplane you ever wanted.

If you''re budget limited, stay away from helicopters.
I just piled in my concept 60 and it''s either fix it, or buy a new one...Not cheap by any means.
And the learning curve on heli''s is far more complicated. You''ll crash more, spend more and tinker more.

But the fun factor....what can I say?

Excuse me Magseal but would that explain why the delivery has been extended to late June!!??

I believe the push back on the date was for the cup holder installation, and the automatic heated/backmassager seat with arm rests and recliner they are installing for you. Very plush and very expensive.

Oops...sorry...guess I was misinformed. Someone told me that was all part of the auto-pilot kit!!

LongRanger

Yeah it actually is something avionics related. I hear it''s because they really aren''t sure what they wanted.(too many choices???) Then once the decision was made all the equipment needs to be procured. I noticed that the booms are on, the pylons are on, battery kits moved to tailboom, and the wire strike kits are on. And the Avionics boys are all tangled up underneath them them in a mess of wires...Luckily none have turned blue in the face yet.
They look like they will be ready in time, things do move fast here once you get to a turning point.

Longranger,
Everything at Eurocopter takes time. I mean Everything!!!!!Good luck with your new toys, Once they arrive!

you can''t rush quality...

And I say that with confidence since 407 driver isn''t here right now to dispell that as a nasty untrue rumour.

Oh yes, you can''t rush me either, as my co-worker says..."I have two speeds, this one and one you''re really not going to like

Actually the exact quote is"I have two speeds, this one and one You will really hate"

Hey Mr Rocket? Don''t I know you from someplace? You look vaguely familar?
